Hello Maurice (happy new year to you and the band),

Try the Golden State Brass Band, they're near LA somewhere.
Go to www.bandsman.co.uk/bb-links.htm, choose US from the
drop down list and look for the bands in CA (they're in state
order). Sadly my contact at that band, John Swain, passed away
from cancer and since his death I've lost contact with the band
so I can't introduce you to anyone there - you'll have to make
contact directly unless there's someone on the list who knows
them.
