Jon Hall was my teacher back in 1966 and still to this day I find his teachings inspirational. As a 12 year old, he arranged a trombone solo for me, which, having been a performer for only one year, proved too traumatic for me and I fluffed it. Afterwards, he spoke to me in the art of performance and nerve control, and I have not looked back since. We need more teachers like Jon in this world....and the fact he supports a decent football team, ( Grimsby Town), just goes to prove it.
