<Rant> Tell me about it! David Mellor drove me to extreme bad language (I
know, hard to believe!) and I even emailed him during the programme to
express my disgust.... (It's my own fault, I know, but the alternative was
Elaine Paige and I needed something to listen to whilst cooking lunch...)

I couldn't believe how he said "I haven't done much to advance the cause of
the brass band.... Britain has many fine brass bands..." etc
then went on to play 4 YES FOUR tracks from a US Military Band, between each
one talking about brass bands as if they were the same thing! This isn't a
rant against US and/or military bands, it's just utter disbelief at the
man's front! And obvious lack of knowledge.
