RE: Test pieces/sections

I noticed that Year of the Dragon was the test piece for the North =
American Honors Section (the equivalent of our first section). An =
acquaintance of mine plays for the New England Brass Band, who came out =
winners, and he said it was the hardest piece of music he's ever played. =
But could we admit that our first section bands couldn't cope with it?  =

Resurgam was 1st Section for Pontins around 3 years ago.
Royal Parks was a 1st Section area piece not long ago but could be =
played
2nd Section.
I think Year of the Dragon is definitely a Championship Section piece
