Does anyone have a copy of this Trombone solo, if
possible with piano acc't (admit I haven't heard of
such an acc't) which they could e-mail or post to me
please?

PS has anyone ever arranged this or part of it for
brass band? It is virtually a military band/wind band
piece to begin with, I think.

with the rest of the orchestra. It incorporates music
originally composed for Berlioz's youthful opera Les

in response to a commission from the Ministry of the
Interior and first performed later that year. The work
betrays the strong influence of Beethoven, notably the
Eroica symphony for the opening funeral march, and the
finale of the Ninth symphony for the concluding
movement."
