Hi All,



A business aquaintance of mine is attempting to walk across the southern ice
cap to the South Pole, as an adventure, before he gets too old!!!



Nigel has kindly given me permission to send this message via the BB email
list. If the message is of no interest to you please forgive the intrusion
and hit the delete button.



He has financed the expedition himself, but is also trying to raise some
money for a cancer charity.



I don't think he plays in a band as the subject has never come up during our
conversations.



His website is shown below and gives full details of the preparation and,
more or less, daily reports on his progress. Whether or not you wish to
