If you ever get a chance to play Concorde by Roy Newsome i strongly suggest you do. Its a great piece with a challenging double tongued ending. It tests stamina more than anything else but when played correctly is one of the most impressive solos you could hope to hear

I think you will find that the conductor has the hardest job in the band and not 'the easiest'. Try getting any band that doesn't make a habit of listening to each other in tune and in time and you will soon see the difficulty of there task!

Thanks for the advice Trevor John, I really struggled with flutter tonguing...don't get me wrong i still do...but that has helped me to get to at least a half decent standard!
