The Brass Band Forum

It occurs to me that there may be a niche in the brass band instrumentation for a euphonium shaped tenor horn. We have the two distinction voices in the baritone and euphonium sections. Would it add a nice bit of colour to have the same concept present in the alto range of the band? Any one's though...
