I have sold the crystal clear mouthpieces to some of my local teachers because they can use them to check pupils embouchure.

I wouldn't suggest the Kelly mouthpiece as a long-term answer but they are good for parade work, their not as expensive and with the numerous colours offer a hint of fun.
