Pontins offer!

Post by holybob »

Does anyone need a back row cornet and a trombone for Pontins? The trom would preferably be bass but solo or 2nd would be considered...

We both play for a championship section band and are going to Pontins bandless this year.

The back row cornet could also play Flugel but probably not in champ / 1st section as it's not their main instrument.

We're near Oldham but any location would be considered depending on how many rehearsals you want!!!

mate, thats EXACTLY what we are after!!!would you like to move to outback australia?? we dont get snow here. we also have pool parties and seafood on chrissie day. we go swimming in the drains and gutters when it rains, and complain becaise it is only 15*celcius in winter. sun shines year rnd, and summer heat is dry, so there is no humidity. who can say no to that?!?!?!

Sounds ideal. Probably better than Pontins as well.

My mate moved out to Sydney last year and regularly gloats about the weather. I gloat that he has to drive 2 hours to a band rehearsal....

sydney!! yuck!! i hate he city!!

i spend 1/2 hour walking to band in the summer whe it is still light. move to the country. it is a 10 min dirve (2hr walk) from one end of twn to the other.

also, unlike sydney, we dont get humidity.
