My first thoughts were, what a colour scheme. Can you tone it down a bit?

Thought about the colour scheme because I had two comments on it - I chose the band colours but they are quite dark. It is being considered but I haven't come up with a better scheme yet so I haven't changed it yet!

I use black on white for most of my site, as you've probably noticed. As I once heard "it's been good enough for the times for a few hundred years so it's probably good enough for you".
