James Gourlay - New Website Launched! (Free Stuff)

Tuba Soloist and Besson Performing Artist James Gourlay has launched his new website, JamesGourlay.com. (http://www.jamesgourlay.com) Not your average personal site, JamesGourlay.com will feature plenty of free downloads and the opportunity to purchase his solo CD’s at excellent prices. Also, learn about upcoming concerts and events at the RNCM and as conductor of the Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band.
Free Downloads. There are currently 2 full-length tracks up for grabs from his 1997 album, Gourlay Plays Tuba: Penderecki’s Capriccio for Solo Tuba and the first movement of the Gregson Tuba Concerto. You’ll also some interesting reading about the Cimbasso in the Reference Section and three studies for tuba that will keep your fingers moving!

-Vizcaya – Great British Music for Wind Band Vol. 10 (2004): With the RNCM Wind Band, featuring the Millennium Concerto by Rodney Newton
-Tristan Encounters (2000): The Music of Martin Ellerby, featuring Ellerby’s Tuba Concerto recorded with the Williams Fairey Band.
-Joseph Horovitz – Music for Brass Band (2001): With the CWS (Glasgow) Band & Brass Band Berner Oberland, conducted by the composer. Featuring the Horovitz Tuba Concerto. This is a 2 disc set.
