Greetings,
I am a new member to this forum. Here is something that I thought that I would pass along to everyone with the hope that perhaps you can pass it along to some folks whom you might think would be interested in this...
I am a musician based in the Kansas City USA area - also a composer and arranger. In order to keep my orchestration chops together beyond writing for jazz ensemble configurations, I started a project of writing arrangements for various instrumental configurations a couple of years ago. All of the selections in this series are "public domain" works, which means there are no licensing or permission to arrange requirements involved. Eventually, I will have a section on my publishing company website where all of this music will be made available along with my original works.
Anyway, this first arrangement that I am offering for free to those who would like a copy, was found to be a bit too advanced for the typical school band program brass players, but perhaps some of the community and civic band musical organizations would be interested in playing it. I have already sent this out to such a semi-professional group in the Colorado Springs area, along with a couple of military bands who wanted it.
Here is a link to the demo mock-up .mp3 music file:

FOR THE AUDIO PROS IN THE HOUSE: Please note that the demo mock-up is only intended to give the listener an idea of what the arrangement sounds like, and also show that it does indeed work. My sound card has reasonable brass instrument sounds, but any brass player will likely still cringe... (smiles) I will send these out on a first come basis and when they are gone, I'll stop the give-away...
Thanks! Cb

Brass Choir Arrangement free for the asking...
Re: Brass Choir Arrangement free for the asking...
Hi Chris. Welcome to the forum and the best of luck in composition.
Have you ever thought about writing for brass bands? They are becoming more popular in your country and would be a useful string to your bow (to coin a phrase).
