As a cornetplayer I am always curious what instruments other cornetplayers play.

Ive swithced to a yamaha, after bying my own soprano. YWB messed me about and I gave theirs back so they couldn't stop me playing soprano. I think the smaller bore suits me, i was having trouble filling the shilkie.

Making do with a Besson International - quite a nice little instrument
I'd love a Sovereign, or even a Prestige, and I'm working toward "upgrading", but for now my trusty International will suffice.
Why?

Lots of People use Yamaha Maestros (inc. me) this may have been a sensible choice for one of your labels?

Having worked my way up to an old style Besson Sovereign, I keep coming back to it even after trying the Curtois (awful instrument - nuff said!), Maestro (not too bad but difficult to maintain the upper register) and of course my trusty Sterling soprano which is a beaut.
Can't beat my old Sov, complete with 3rd slide ring and everything. It's already had one overhaul, and I just hope to god nothing happens to it coz I don't like anything else out there at the minute.
Sovereign Sop.

I Started on the yankie model getzen first but then fell in love with my Besson sovereign, with its 1st and 3rd slide triggers it is a sop players must. But they don't make them like they used to!!!
