| In the villages of South Yorkshire, between Sheffield and
Huddersfield, there is a strong tradition of local carols. This selection of
six of them is within the ability of all bands. It is a must for all bands in
South and West Yorkshire for their Christmas concerts, but will go down with
audiences the world over.
There are optional SATB parts for those Christmas concerts with choirs. The featured carols are:
