I disagree, there is one more thing you can do. Listen while you play!the only thing to do is practice with a tuner
Every note you play on most musical instruments has the potential to be out of tune so it needs constant tweaking by the nut between the ears.

I believe that rules should be in place restricting area/national test piece usage before and after the area/national contest, because certain bands have abused the current system. eg. Michelmersh 2003 played the area test piece for the actual adjudicator at a local contest befor the contest and the...
