I'm an 18 year old student who has just moved to Sheffield to study BA Geography, and while I am here I would really love to carry on playing in a brass band. The last band that I was a member of was Wirral Schools Brass Band and I play the Baritone.
Unfortunately I do not have my own instrument and I am not sure what standard of playing I have reached (the last grade I took was grade 5, though I was working towards grade 7 when I left the wirral).
Could anyone please give me some advice as to how to find a band i can play in?
This would really help!
