Hong Kong Brass Band

I am living in Hong Kong and I will probably be doing it for another two years. I have always played brass band and, as everyone else being too long in the brass band world, I've become addicted to it. I have tried to find some information about Hong Kong Brass Band, but without any luck. I would be so thrilled, if anyone knew something about the band.

I miss so much playing!

Hi Anders,

I believe the nearest brass band to Hong Kong is as far as I know the Japan Staff Band of the Salvation Army.

I believe you are not willing to fly to Tokio, Japan every week

To be serious, as far as I know there are no brass bands in China.

got to start one yourself I believe...........

I played with the Hong Kong Brass band from 1993-1997. At that time is was rehearsing in the Hong Kong police band room at the training college on Hong Kong Island. The conductor was a trumpet player with the Hong Kong Phillamonic orchestra.
