Hi I play flugel in Tiverton Town Band and welcome you to have a look at our new website www.tivertontownband.co.uk
Tiverton Town Band are the band who recentally appeared in the film "Blackball", we had to walk up and down a bowling green for 6 hours in the middle of October, but it was really good fun.
Unfortunatly Mel Smith, the director of the movie, did not name our band - so, if you were wondering who they were - then that was us.........
TIVERTON TOWN BAND
We perform at all sorts of events - concerts for charity event, marches and carnivals, social events, even weddings! The main drive for our band it to have fun and enjoy being together making music. I think if more bands and bandsmen spent more time being together, having fun, then the brass band world would be a happier place to spend hours, and hours of your life!
So, my advice would be enjoy being with the other members of your band, they will always be there for you when you need a friend - or a favour!!
