Brass Band Chat Room

Post by njh »

The chat room seems to be failing. The host (Force9) have recently upgraded their
software and have broken the script, I am in contact with them.

I would like feedback from other people to see if it's working for them or not.

BTW, if anyone out there knows PHP please put your hand up, I
could do with some help and I suspect that Force9 will just say "it's
your script - we're not interested"

I am trying some new chat room software to see if that helps. The new URL is

http://cgi.bandsman.co.uk/cgi-bin/gtchat/chat.pl

Please report any problems to me.

The ISP have admitted to changing some settings. All should now be OK with
the old chat room address (http://cgi.bandsman.co.uk/arsc). I had some negative
comments about the GTChat test so I am going to leave it with ARSC for now.
