Baritone Nuby

Post by CampAnawannaDave »

Hey guys. I'm an old tuba player from back in the day. And I asked my old high school band director (who now directs at college) if he needed any help with this seasons marching band...Hoping he needed a tuba. And he asked me to play baritone. I agreed and he gave me the bari and the music to practice but I don't know the fingerings...on tuba I knew all the variations on the fingerings and now with the bari I'm so lost....I can't find a decent site that provides the fingerings and so I turn to yunz guys. Please help me if possible

Thanks Much
~Dave

it's really very simple:

C - 0
Db - 1,2,3
D - 1,3
Eb - 2,3
E - 1,2 or 3
F - 1
Gb - 2
G - 0
Ab - 2,3
A - 1,2
Bb - 1
B - 2
C - 0
Db - 1,2
D - 1
Eb - 2
E - 0
F - 1
Gb - 2
G - 0

It's not too bad really. Good luck with that. Baritone is great!

If you visit the Besson site there is a fingering chart for the baritone which you can print.
