Werril Cornets

Post by kenebee »

I've just been shown an advertisement in the British Bandsman about Werril Regium Cornets. They appear to offer all the mod cons at a low price. Does anyone have any opinions on them :?:

Hi Shaz,
Can't help you on the cornet I'm afraid, but what I have noticed is that now that computer technology is available around the World, instruments from the Far East and other countries have improved by miles.

Years ago, no reasonable player would touch cheap imported instruments, but now these are turnin out great quality instruments, with good finishes, so I think it's a case of try one and see ?

On a simular note my sister owns a japanese violin. Its people assume its value before they hear it is ££-£££ but after ££££ at least :-D

The maker is a highly skilled and sought after japanese craftsman. Its possible there are crafstmen in other countries who's instrument making skills rival those of the great indervidual makers who have made names such as stradavarious and vincent bach what they are today.
