i know it is kinda trivial, with so many people here being a grade players, but i would just like to anounce that one the 5th of june, the goldfields brass band, from kalgoorlie in western australia won d grade by 30 points at states we also were 14 points ahead of the c grade. we are all very pleased, because this is the third time since our band began that we have attended states. 8 hours on a bus isnt an easy thing.
