As mentioned in the thread started last September concerning the band's first proms appearance at this venue, the band were booked for Saturday 24th September 2005.

With the Saturday night sold out, the band have now been booked for Friday 23rd September also, and the tickets for the Friday night will be going on sale in the next few days - when they're printed!

Going by the fact the Saturday was sold out 7 months in advance, you'll need to get your skates on if you want to come along on the Friday night. We'll be having all the usual pops and bangs, not to mention a Lancaster Bomber fly-past (a regular feature of the Mount Charles style Last Night of the Proms).

Just spoke to the Minack - my parents being 2 who'd left it late to book tickets - and there are 50 tickets remaining for the Friday night plus some upper terrace space. Apparently they're going fast so you need to book now!!!

For those of you who can't wait for the Minack, we have a Last Night of the Proms concert on Mevagissey Quay this Friday night. Short notice I know, but that's how I often I look at our engagement list.

we also have a couple at the Sterts Centre at Liskeard sometime between now and Minack so I'll look up the dates. I was in primary school last time I went to the Sterts Centre but if I remember rightly it seemed at the time like a hole in the ground in the middle of Bodmin Moor. It was cold so wrap up warm!! I know I have an engagement list here somewhere...
