The Maple Leaf Brass Band (Ottawa, ON) will perform at the Hannaford Silver Band festival March 11/12/13 in Toronto.
Again this year the band will perform an all-Canadian music program with original brass band compositions by Gabriel Major-Marothy and E F Lloyd Hiscock, and works of James McDonald Gayfer arranged for the band by E F Lloyd Hiscock.
The concert will take place Saturday March 12, 2005 at the Jane Mallett theatre and will feature The Canadian Staff Band of the Salvation Army, The Maple Leaf Brass Band, and the Hannaford Honour Band comprised of players selected from all the bands participating in the festival.
