Good luck to everyone taking part this weekend. I'll be there both days, so say hi if you see me!

4th section results

1) Dodworth MW (Eliot Darwin) 186
2) Emley Moor (Garry Hallas) 185
3) Barnsley Met (John Grinnell) 184
4) Crofton Silver (Malcolm Simpson) 183 (Also best soloist prize)
5) Lofthouse 2000 (Andrew Whitaker) 182
6) Friendly Band (Sowerby Bridge) (Carol Caton) 180

To me, Dodworth were the clear winners and were the band that best
turned a set of notes into music, with a clear contrast between
the styles of the movements - I also had them placed 1st!

I only heard the 4th section on Saturday (and played in the top section on Sunday).

The 4th section results were pretty much spot on.
