I play for a Veterans Brass Band and at our AGM this morning the subject was raised about the need for Third Party Insurance to cover the band against any claims arising from our performance, setting up, tripping over instrument cases etc. etc.
Can anyone inform us if there is a statutory requirement for third party insurance?
Is it strongly reccomended that the band have insurance cover in place?
Any advice would be appreciated.
