Overseas orders may incur a local sales tax which will be added to the price quoted on this site. If in doubt contact your local supplier.

To convert currencies to and from Pounds Sterling, we recommend using the Universal Currency Converter.

Prices

In case of difficulty you may order directly from us. All of our items are individually priced. Please either consult our comprehensive catalogue, use our automated on-line shop or contact us.

Separate soloist parts are available, for example for home practice, on all of the solo items in our catalogue at a flat price of £1.50 per item.

How to Pay

We prefer that you purchase through a reseller, all of our music should be available through your usual sheet music source.

To purchase directly from us using cheques or postal order, place your order to the above address, payment with the order please. Cheques and P.O.s should be made payable to Nigel Horne.

We welcome payment in cheques in any currency, drawn on your local bank. However, because of bank charges, cheques for less than £30 in currencies other than Pounds Sterling will incur a £8 surcharge irrespective of the number of items on the order. For orders by cheque, please allow time for the cheque to clear before the music is dispatched.

Payment by PayPal is also welcome, please make your payments to our account "njh@bandsman.co.uk".

Other Information

All music comes with a full score. Extra parts and parts in bass clef can usually be supplied free of charge with the order, just let us know your requirements when ordering.

Don't forget to send us your e-mail address when you order, that way our tracking system will keep you informed as your order progresses.

We try to dispatch all orders within 10 working days, however if your need is pressing, please mark your order urgent.

Sorry, but in these days of scanners, photocopiers and laser printers we cannot accept returns unless the goods can be demonstrated as faulty, in which case they will be replaced as per the Sales of Goods Act. Electronic versions of our music are not available.

Copies of printed programmes using our music would be appreciated for our publicity.

From time to time we improve music from our catalogue and publish errata on our music change history page.

Composers and Arrangers

We always have a demand for good new music. If you are a composer or arranger and are looking for someone to distribute your music then why not contact us?

Scores for consideration for publication may be submitted electronically in Finale (Windows only, up to and including Finale 2002 only), ETF, Encore, Noteworthy Composer, Mozart (up to version 3), PDF or PostScript format or via the post. Submissions sent via the post will not be returned, unless accompanied by a SAE upon which the full postage has been paid. Please do not post originals in case they are lost in the post. Recordings are not required at this stage, but they may prove useful as a sales tool later.

You are reminded to seek the permission of the copyright holder(s) of any music before starting an arrangement or composition that uses copyrighted material. Music that is in copyright and for which the appropriate permission has not been granted cannot be accepted. A copy of the written agreement for publication and for arrangements for music that is under copyright must be included with your submission.
